What to do if lightning strikes your home

Step One
Call Florida Family's claims department at (888) 486-4633, or contact us by email. Claims representatives are available 24 hours a day to assist you.

Step Two
Make any necessary repairs to protect your home and property, such as general clean up, etc. Make sure to save your receipts.

Step Three
Take photos of anything that may need to be disposed of prior to your inspector’s visit.

Step Four
In the event your home is uninhabitable, contact Florida Family for an explanation of your living expense allowance.
